OLD FRANKFORT PHOTOS

These photographs were found in a piece of furniture that had belonged to Aline Fleming Edwards Phillips Suter, 1887-1973.  Few were captioned and we have not identified many of the individuals or scenes.  Aline was born in Lockport, Kentucky and raised in Frankfort.

This might have been Frank Edwards' blacksmith shop in Frankfort.

Probably Aline's father, Francis Marion "Frank" Edwards, 1855-1904.  He served in the Indian Wars; this photographer was in ND.

Employees of the Frankfort Post Office, one of whom is Aline's first husband William Phillips.
