Thanksgiving Day 2009

This year's crowd was smaller than some we've had; Bill and Donna were on the Indianapolis turn of their rotation, Bud and Barb were were still settling into their new retirement digs in Florida, and Annie couldn't make it all the way from Florida this year either.  Tom and Mario were on a cruise.  Jess had to make Thursday her travel day but she and Anna did make it in by 5 PM.

Bill, Christopher and Christina stopped by the day before so we could meet her.  Bill also surprised us with a large and carefully chosen assortment of Lucky U gifts to pass out to unwary, we mean, fortunate recipients.	Roger's turkey this year was inspired by a Julia Child/Jacques Pepin show he watched; the thighs are deboned and stuffed with dressing.  It was as delicious as it was impressive.
Ginny, Pat and Kathie caught up on mom stuff.	Grandma Aline caught up with Wizard, then napped through the afternoon.
Roger was disappointed in how soft this shot turned out.	Big Owl came without his camera this year.
Rachel distributed Bill's Lucky U gifts to general hilarity.  (Bill, we couldn't get anyone to accept the sports-car cologne so we'll save that for you).	Carrie and Chris.
Jess and Anna finally made it in.	Scotty and Philip and the kids didn't get to come down until Friday, but Adam was happy to see Anna again.
Katie loves to take a turn on Grandma's laptop.	Everyone assembled for a brief moment.
